Working Breathing Heat
So glass has been good to us lately. The weather has been cooperating and working is truly a pleasure! Hart has been making some really nice pieces and Lauren has been making pendants for the past few weeks. We also have been trying to get accepted into a gallery that is hosting a borosilicate glass art exhibit. It will be held in Asheville, NC at the Golden Gate Gallery. We are very excited and we have our fingers crossed that we will get accepted!

New Goats
2008 has brought us many changes to our herd. we now have a baby calf that we are bottle feeding! his name is Terrapin and he is a 4 week old Holstein calf. we have our all star does, Pisgah and Sitka, and today we got them two very nice bucks. Our new bucks are beautiful Nubians! One of them, Connemara Farms Cedric, came from the Carl Sandburg national historic home. The other one is from the LakeShore lines out of California. He was born on a dairy near Marshall, NC. We are very excited to add these beautiful goats to our herd and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for all of us.
